My client is currently looking for a Chef to start a role in Portsmouth (PO6).
This is a 12 week role, with potential for extension, or a permanent position upon completion.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds NVQ 3 in Cookery or equivalent for the Catering Industry
- Food Safety Certificate Level 2
- Allergen Level 2 Training
- DBS (Basic) dated within the past 3 years.
Experience
- Significant experience in catering environments producing for large numbers
Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to work on own initiative, Able to produce high standards of work in a pressurised environment, ability to understand the needs of the customers in the hospital environment
Shift pattern: 7 days on, 2 days off, 8 days on, 4 days off (working 2 weekends in 3) and hours of work are 06.00 to 14.00, 08.00 to 16.00 and 11.00 to 19.00.
Pay rate: £14.00ph
