What will the Financial Accounting Manager role involve?
- Managing the timely and accurate production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and other standards.
- Overseeing the preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns.
- Leading and developing a team of accountants, conducting appraisals and providing coaching and mentoring.
- Deputising for the Senior Manager when needed and handling resource planning for team members.
- Participating in key accounting projects and process improvement initiatives, while managing risks around the accounting function.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accounting Manager vacancy:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA).
- Experience producing financial statements and a solid understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- A strong track record of managing, mentoring, and developing teams.
