Senior Quantity Surveyor- Flooring- Construction
Salary- £70,000-£80,000
Location- Woodford Green, London
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates and cost plans for flooring projects.
- Monitor project costs and budgets, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project profitability.
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide expert advice on cost-saving measures and risk management strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the flooring industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Excel and industry-specific quantity surveying tools.
