Software Engineer required for my client who work within telecommunications and security solutions, based near to Northampton.
The successful candidate will be able to develop high-quality software applications as part of a team under the supervision of software team lead.
The client will be developing a blend of desktop and web applications, so an ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a breadth of experience in developing applications in different technologies.
Software Engineer Position Overview
- Full-Stack development. Ability to build high-performance and scalable solutions using both Frontend and Backend technologies.
- Contribute to all phases of software development lifecycle.
- Work closely with both software team lead and QA Engineer.
- Produce and execute unit tests.
- Carry out peer reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Software Engineer Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering or an equivalent.
- Experience with 3+ years in relevant technologies in industry.
- Hands-on C#, WPF software development experience.
- Object orientated analysis and design using common design patterns
- Good knowledge of the SDLC.
- Strong front-end design skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with 3+ years in relevant technologies in industry.
- Based within a commutable distance of Northampton
- Full UK driving licence to commute into the offices.
Software Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary - £35,000 to £55,000 - depending upon experience, skill and qualifications.
- Full time position, based in the office all the time - Monday to Friday.
- Holiday package - 33 days (including bank holiday allowance) per year. This increases to 38-day total package after 5 years' service.
