The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join the firm's renowned Private Client team. As part of this leading department, you will work alongside experienced solicitors and partners, gaining exposure to a wide range of private client matters. These may include:
- Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning
- Probate and Administration of Estates
- Tax Planning and Wealth Management
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection work
You will be given significant responsibility from the outset, with the opportunity to manage your own caseload under supervision. The role requires a detail-oriented approach, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising high-net-worth clients on a variety of private client matters.
- Drafting legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Assisting with the administration of estates and probate.
- Providing advice on inheritance tax and wealth preservation strategies.
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver a seamless client experience.
Requirements:
- Recently qualified solicitor (NQ) with a strong academic background.
- Prior experience in private client law during your training contract is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to business development and client engagement.
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.
