Job Title: Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor 5+ PQE
Salary: £60K - £85K DOE and PQE
Location: Newport, hybrid or Remote
Hours: Full Time
A highly Ranked Firm is looking for an experienced Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join their reputable, busy, friendly team. This firm gives you the flexibility you need and allows you to work from home. As long as you have a high standard of client care and attend to clients needs, they understand that we don't always need to be present in the office.
Remote working is available for candidates that are experienced within Corporate Commercial Law and are able to work independently under no supervision. If you are below 3 years post qualified, your application will still be considered but on a hybrid basis leading to remote.
Main Responsibilities
Manage a high-value and quality caseload of Corporate Commercial Files. Including but not limited to;
- Sales, Mergers and Acquisitions and disposals
- Commercial and Contract law
- Corporate Finance
- Alternative Finance
- Intellectual property
- Shareholder and partnership issues
As well as supervising a team.
Essential Criteria
- Must be at least 3 years post-qualified Solicitor or equivalent. Remote working is only viable to experienced candidates who are able to work independently under supervision on corporate commercial files.
- You will have a high level of commercial awareness and above all be client-focused, taking time to develop relationships and understand what they are looking to achieve. Someone who is interested in business development and networking would be great, although this is not essential.
Experience leading or supervising a team is beneficial and preferred.
