Our client, a Legal 500 firm with offices across West Yorkshire, is seeking a dynamic and ambitious NQ Solicitor to join their Private Client team. Our client is a trusted law firm offering assistance on a wide range of legal issues, including both commercial and personal law services. With a longstanding and loyal client base, their Private Client team covers various matters, including Wills, Trusts, Probate, Court of Protection, and Powers of Attorney.
The Role:
As the Private Client NQ Solicitor, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse and challenging caseload, including Wills, Probate, and Powers of Attorney matters. You will also play a key role in developing and expanding the firm's elderly client offering through networking and business development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of wills and estate cases
- Assisting clients with various private client matters, such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Administration of Estates, Court of Protection, and Trusts
- Providing legal advice and support to clients
- Working closely with the team, receiving mentorship and supervision to support your professional development
- Delivering exceptional client care to our longstanding and loyal client base
- Assisting senior fee earners on complex cases as part of your professional development
- Staying updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
We are looking for a newly qualified NQ Solicitor with a keen interest in Private Client work. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Newly qualified Solicitor (NQ)
- Interest in and ideally some experience in Private Client work
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with attention to detail and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong networking and business development abilities
