Voids/Disrepair Surveyor - NW/West London

Adecco Housing are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Voids/Disrepair Surveyor to join our client's dynamic and growing team in the housing sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work with contractors, consultant partners, colleagues and residents to deliver the full range of repairs, maintenance and voids services across all housing stock that provides value for money and is in line with the organisation's Asset Management Strategy

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of void properties along with disrepair surveys to assess and prioritise repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of repairs and renovations in void properties.
  • Liaise with tenants and housing management teams to address any concerns or complaints related to void and disrepair issues.
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to develop and implement effective void and disrepair management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and repairs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and developments, sharing knowledge and best practises with the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Voids/Disrepair Surveyor or similar role within the housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools, including surveying equipment.
  • Valid driving licence, as driving to various sites will be required.
