Do you have expertise in Plastering? Do you thrive on challenges and take pride in your work?
We're recruiting plasterers for our client, a company specialising in social housing refurbishments, maintenance, and new build developments.
These works will be planned and be around the Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire areas with occasional, infrequent works taking place further afield.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare walls and other surfaces for plastering by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents.
Mix plaster to the desired consistency and apply coats of plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
Apply finishing coats of plaster and create decorative textures or finishes as required.
Repair and restore existing plasterwork on walls and ceilings.
Ensure all work meets industry standards and customer specifications.
Work with other tradespeople and contractors on site to ensure project completion within deadlines.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Plasterer with a solid portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in plastering techniques, including skimming, floating, and rendering.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
The ability to work in various conditions, including at heights and in confined spaces.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in plastering are advantageous.

- Full Driving licence (clean)
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work.

Hours 8am-5pm (overtime available – evenings and weekend)
Van, Fuel Card, mobile, PPE (will need own tools)
Performance Related bonus scheme – Earn up to an extra £5,200 per annum
