Graduate Production Engineer Electrical/Electronic

Our client seeks to appoint a Graduate Production Engineer. The appointed engineer must have completed an electronic and/or electrical focused engineering qualification and have at least some experience working in an electronics manufacturing facility. In this role you will use a range of lean and continuous improvement techniques, along with a lot of common sense, to make improvements in the production process. You must have a good understand of lean techniques with any formal lean training coming has a big bonus.

- Identify and implement improvement projects to reduce cost whilst increasing output
- Review and make improvements to standard processes and operating procedures. Specific focus on spotting bottle necks in production lines, reducing process times, and eliminating scrap material / waste
- Good understanding of lean and continuous improvement activities
-- CAD design where required

Graduate Production Engineer - Skills and Abilities - Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Lean, Continuous Improvement, Electronic, Electrical

- Degree / HND qualified in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience of process improvement methodologies and at least two years' experience in an electronics focused Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer style role
- Excellent lean and continuous improvement knowledge
- Experienced with CAD design
