My Client is a leading insurance group in Europe who offer a wide range of insurance products and services. Their vibrant London office see's them recruiting for an Information Security Officer.

The Role

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, governmental, and ERGO UK regulations and standards for IT security and privacy.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate IT risks to protect the business and its data.
  • Policy Development: Create, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Security Frameworks: Develop and manage security frameworks, processes, and tools to support risk-based decision-making.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Assist with audits, facilitate management responses, and ensure overall IT compliance.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify acceptable risk levels and develop mitigation plans.
  • Incident Response: Coordinate investigations, reporting, and response to security incidents.
  • Liaison: Work with authorities on security incident reporting.
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide security recommendations for IT projects to improve results, quality, and compliance.
  • Knowledge Development: Broaden understanding of the business and IT environment to effectively support risk and compliance management.

Your Profile

To apply for this role you should be a seasoned information security professional with a passion for protecting digital assets. You will have If you have a strong background in security governance, risk management, and compliance, and have successfully implemented security measures in previous roles. Experience with security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls, along with certifications like CISSP or CISM, will be highly valued.

Alongside this you will have the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary & Benefits

  • £70,000 - £80,000
