Location: Portishead

Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Three days office, two days work from home.

Travel: Yes. Potentially once every fortnight to other company sites.

IT Support Analyst Key Skills:

We are eager to connect with aspiring IT Support Analysts, Technical Support Engineers, Helpdesk Support Specialists, and other early-career IT professionals. To excel in this position, you must possess many of the following:

  • Experience with hardware builds and desktop installations.
  • Proficiency in hardware/software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Office 365 installation and configuration.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and network support, including WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Proactive in researching and recommending IT upgrades and improvements.
  • Understanding and managing data backups.
  • Good working knowledge of virtual environments such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, call management, and SLA compliance.
  • Experience with IP phone management and configuration.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
  • Willingness to travel to other company sites.
  • UK driving license is preferable or actively working towards a license.

About the IT Support Analyst position:

This is a Solo IT Support position reporting to the Director of IT. You will ensure all end-user support queries are answered, and service requests are logged and completed within agreed SLAs. You will support 300+ users locally and remotely, monitor and maintain all internal and cloud environments, and ensure the security and maximum uptime of the IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up new computers to agreed specifications.
  • Being involved in third-line support and projects such as migrations and implementations.
  • Managing data backups.
  • Supporting the IT Security Incident Response process.
  • Logical troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Hardware builds and desktop installations.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: £30-35,000

Location: Portishead

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Three days in the office, two days working from home)
