Matching Staff Solutions are working alongside our established client to find a Street Scene Operative located in Exeter. Your role will be to keep the city and local environment clean, tidy and adequately maintained.
5 days out of 7 including weekends - 6:00am/07:00am until 13:00pm/18:00pm (role dependant)
The Role
Your main duties will include:
- Grounds maintenance and vegetation management tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, shrub bed maintenance using pedestrian and hand held equipment.
- Graffiti removal using chemicals or powered equipment.
- Removing litter, emptying litter bins and removing weed growth.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of Health and Safety in an operational environment.
- Ability to solve straight forward problems.
- Communication skills required to exchange information with both staff and members of the public.
- Full UK driving license
