We're looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer in AutobahnFX; an award-winning platform for Foreign Exchange (FX) to expand integration with major trading venues such as Bloomberg, 360T, FXConnect and FXAll. FX relies on technology to stay ahead of the competition, we develop high performance & available applications that process more than 3 million trade events and generate 20 billion unique quotes per day. We practice agile, test-first and collaborative development using Java, Kotlin, C++, JavaScript and Oracle and leverage cutting-edge technologies such as MongoDB, ClickHouse, Kafka, Redis, Ignite, gRPC, Spark, and Tableau. We build cloud-ready solutions and host them on-premises (Google Anthos) and on public cloud (Google GKE). You will be at the forefront of innovation, where you will gain invaluable experience in scaling and optimizing a robust system and be a part of a talented team dedicated to shaping the future of technology in finance.

Your key responsibilities

  • Take responsibility in front-to-back testing of trading applications
  • Requirements analysis from quality assurance perspective and test cases design based on specifications and requirements
  • Plan and execute full set of test activities: create, maintain and execute automated tests, design and perform functional and non-functional testing
  • Collaborate and communicate openly. Engage directly with business and technology to ensure that the software delivered is fit for purpose
  • Test environments ownership, and participate in cross-systems results verification
  • Develop and extend in-house testing automation tools and test frameworks

Your skills and experience

  • Past experience working in Quality Assurance area, test analysis skills, ability to design test cases using different test techniques
  • Hands on experience in automated testing processes and methodologies
  • Experience in testing complex systems
  • Strong technical background, experience with SQL, Unix commands
  • Experience with financial applications, and financial mathematics is a plus
