SEN Early Years Support

Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children in education with SEN, but worried you might not have enough hands-on experience?

Tradewind are very lucky to be working alongside a brilliant mainstream primary school based in Westminster, who are on the search for committed SEN Teaching Assistants to support in their Early Years department.

About the school:

About the role:

  • Full-time (Monday to Friday)
  • Long-term role commencing in September 2024 and will last until at least July 2025
  • You will be required to support groups moderate and severe learning difficulties
  • Pupils will be ages 4 - 5 years
  • Incorporate the EYFS curriculum and "learning through play"
  • You may be required to lead intervention group sessions
  • Work 1:1 with pupils who require extra support
  • Encourage the use of visual learning materials

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 months' experience working with children
  • SEN experience / understanding is ideal but not essential
  • Confident and willing to support children with complex needs is essential
  • Must be available full-time and long-term from September 2024
