  • Create and execute detailed project plans, identifying necessary resources and required skillsets.
  • Identify key stakeholders and develop effective relationships.
  • Lead Project Definition Workshops
  • Schedule and manage resources to deliver the project by delegating tasks and assigning responsibilities to project teams.
  • Be accountable for Risk Management, Issues Management and Change Management throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Manage and be accountable for the project budget.
  • Ensure the benefits of the project are identified, understood, measured, tracked and owned.
  • Prepare key reports, including project status dashboards and forecasts to completion, to support effective governance and decision making. Track and report delivery against milestones.
  • Analyse project performance including profitability and utilisation.
  • Conduct post project reviews to establish learning points and evaluate performance against time, cost and quality objectives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing success of the PMO function.

About you

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects within enterprise environments to agreed time, quality, and cost objectives with a minimum of 5 years experience delivering client facing IT projects in a formal Project Management role.

  • Clear communicator used to tailor communication, as appropriate, to the audience (including leading Project Definition Workshops, presentation creation, report creation, written and oral communication).
  • Robust commercial skills associated with project budgeting and change management.
  • Strong client-facing, stakeholder engagement - experience of identifying and managing stakeholder relationships and leveraging senior level support with experience of collaborating and influencing.
  • Understanding of Microsoft products and enterprise solutions (preferably with AZ900, MS900 qualifications).
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent.
