Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects and workstreams from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Collaborate effectively with IT teams and key stakeholders across the wider business to align project goals with business objectives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the data strategy, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Identify, analyse, and address complex business data challenges, providing innovative solutions to enhance data quality, accessibility, and usability.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, and status reports, ensuring transparency and accountability at all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and manage expectations through regular updates, presentations, and meetings.
- Utilise excellent people skills to mentor and guide project team members, facilitating their professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a focus on leading multiple yearly projects and workstreams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex business data challenges and deliver successful data strategy initiatives.
- Strong background in working with IT teams and cross-functional business units.
- Exceptional people skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
