This is a great opportunity for an Estimator to join a growing yet established Main Contractor who work on a wide variety of projects in the Commercial and Public sector for a company who look after their staff with opportunities to progress to Senior Estimator.
Are you an Estimator with experience with the Commercial sector? Are you looking to join an established Main Contractor where you can progress your career alongside the company?
This established yet growing Main Contractor, offering a full design and build service to a diverse range of clientele. Working across a number of sectors with their projects ranging from the refurbishment of schools to complete new build retail stores. Their emphasis on quality has found them great success since completion with them recently being put on the Local Framework and has resulted in them having a full workbook moving forward. This is why they are looking to addto their dynamic team wit this great opportunity.
In this role you will take on a number of responsibilities; you will be working within a team of estimators, alongside your team members you will be responsible for managing tenders of various sizes and budgets and the cost estimates for those projects. Their will be the potential for you to attend on-site meetings to liaise with on-site teams and suppliers when needed. As well as that you will be creating take offs from drawings and specifications to determine all labour and cost for those projects. You will be using estimating software and tools to generate the breakdown for proposals. Finally, amongst other responsibilities, you will be collecting quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to help create successful bids.
The ideal candidate will be an Estimator with experience working on Commercial projects, as well as holding a full UK driver's license to be able to travel to their sites in the region when needed.
