We are seeking a Science Teacher for a highly regarded secondary school in the Bassingbourn area. This role is to cover maternity leave and is set to start in the coming month. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about teaching science subjects including biology, chemistry, and physics.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons across various topics including biology, chemistry, and physics.
  • Develop innovative lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and encourage critical thinking.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration and respect.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational standards.
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
