We have a new and exciting opportunity for you to work as a Trainee FLT Operative for a busy distribution centre in Tamworth B78 3HJ.
This training course is 3 weeks in duration. On completion you will be awarded a AITT Reach Truck or VNA license and you will also be guaranteed an interview for the role of FLT driver at Tamworth with Challenge-trg Recruitment.
Training times are as follows:
- Week 1 - Monday to Friday 9am until 4pm
- Week 2 - Monday to Friday 9am until 4pm
- Week 3 - Monday to Friday, either 6am until 2pm or 2pm until 10pm.
Warehouse Qualification, what will you learn:
- Understand how to receive and store goods and materials
- Understand how to process orders and dispatch goods
- Understand how to deliver effective customer service
- Understand health, safety, security and legislation
- Understand how to be an effective team worker
FLT Qualification you will receive:
AITT Reach or AITT VNA
Guaranteed Interview and job on completion of the course. Job information:
Your pay rate as a FLT Reach Driver:
- Day shift: £12.14 per hour
- Night shift: £13.36 per hour
- Overtime for Day shift: £16.55 per hour
- Overtime for Night shift: £17.77 for nights
- You will also receive a bonus payment for every hour working on a Reach or VNA truck.
Typical hours as a FLT Reach Driver:
You will be working 3 days on 3 days off shift on either the Day shift, from 6am until 6pm or Night shift from 6pm until 6am.

As a Reach Truck or VNA driver your duties will include:
- Order picking
- Palletisation
- Replenishment of stock
- Shrink wrapping
- General housekeeping.
You will need to work as part of a team in an ambient environment. Good levels of communication, both written and verbal are required.
