About you:?

The Director of Marketing Operations will be responsible for the development of a brand new Marketing Operations function, with a particular focus in your first year on marketing technology efficiencies and best in class marketing automation execution. The role involves defining and managing the marketing technology stack, optimising marketing automation processes, driving data-driven decisions, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing tech and automation, data analysis, project management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong emphasis on leveraging technology to enhance marketing performance.

Day-to-day, you will:?

  • Marketing Technology Management: Define, optimize, and maintain the marketing tech stack, including Marketo and analytics tools, ensuring integration with other business systems and staying updated on emerging technologies.
  • Marketing Automation: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Marketo for lead nurturing and conversion, and execute personalized, scalable automated marketing campaigns.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights, conduct in-depth analysis, and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Budget Management: Align marketing strategies with business objectives, facilitate cross-department collaboration, oversee the marketing operations budget, and ensure compliance with data privacy laws.?

Your skills and experiences might also include:??

  • Marketing Operations Leadership: Extensive experience in a leadership role within a matrix SaaS or technology company, with a focus on marketing operations.
  • Marketing Technology Expertise: Proven ability to manage marketing technology stacks and automation platforms, particularly Marketo.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and leveraging data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Exceptional leadership, team management, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Compliance and Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, compliance regulations, data privacy laws, and a passion for staying current with technology trends.
