Sous Chef

Our client is seeking an experienced, reliable Chef to join their team. Would suit an experienced sous chef. You should be able to manage food production, and preparation to a professional standard.

Responsibilities:
- Help to plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Have input into creating innovative and delicious menus
- Be trained in food safety and proper cooking techniques
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management and head chef to develop new recipes and menus
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Manage food costs and minimise waste

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a high-volume pub or restaurant or culinary establishment
- Good knowledge of kitchen operations, food production, and food preparation techniques
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Skills:
- Proficient in cooking techniques across various cuisines
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with staff and management
- Due to location you will have your own transport
