Our client, a leading construction services group seeking a dedicated Senior Sales Administrator to handle the comapnies Sales Administration and Corporate Customer Services, joining their UK subsidiary.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining excellent service standards, promptly addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of customer interaction, order processing, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Senior Sales Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Confirm Pricing, Stock Availability, and Deliveries: Provide accurate information regarding product pricing, stock availability, and delivery timelines.
  • Process Incoming Orders: Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Prepare Quotations: Generate quotations promptly upon request.
  • Assess Customer Needs: Identify and assess customer requirements to achieve optimal satisfaction.
  • Build Relationships: Foster sustainable relationships with customers and collaborate closely with the external sales team.
  • Provide Accurate Information: Ensure that accurate, valid, and complete information is conveyed to customers using appropriate tools and methods.
  • Meet KPIs and Targets: Strive to meet personal and team performance targets.
  • Handle Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints effectively, offering appropriate solutions and alternatives.
  • Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with Warehouses: Liaise with third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses to ensure correct information is transmitted for timely order fulfillment.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Strong Phone Handling Skills: Proficient in handling phone calls and actively listening to customer inquiries.
  • Customer Orientation: Adaptability to different customer personalities and needs.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management and Multitasking: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Office Environment Experience: Comfortable working in a busy office setting (1 to 3 years of experience preferred).
  • Computer Literacy: Highly proficient in using various computer systems and quick to adapt to new software.
  • Microsoft Office Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and supportive within a team.
  • Flexible and Eager to Learn: Willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic environment.
