SEN English Teacher (KS2 to KS4)

- Salary: £100 - £260 per day (MPS/UPS plus SEN allowance)
About the Role: We are seeking a confident and experienced classroom practitioner to join an alternative provision. As an SEN English Teacher, you will take charge of small classes from KS2 up to KS4. The provision caters for students with behavioural and emotional difficulties. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of teaching assistants
- Providing pastoral support for students with severe barriers to learning
- Designing and delivering a curriculum within your specialist subject (KS2-KS4)
- Developing and maintaining schemes of work across subjects
Requirements: Applicants should have experience teaching students with behavioral difficulties within a mainstream school, special school, PRU, or alternative provision. Knowledge of strategies for SEN in the secondary phase is essential.
