Description
Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting commentary.
- Preparation of monthly costs and budgets for central functions, and reporting this to central budget holders
- Review of weekly management accounts, sales report and treasury reports
- Overall treasury management including bank account and foreign exchange
- Responsible for all balance sheet reconciliations for the central business area
- Preparation of year end statutory accounts
- Preparation of quarterly and year end corporation tax computations
- Collation of overall company budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Liaising with external auditors
- Ensuring compliance with PAYE legislation including collation and submission of P11D & PAYE settlement information
- Debtors management including credit limit monitoring and review
- Maintenance of company car fleet - liaising with leasing companies to obtain renewal quotes
- Identify and raise any continuous improvement opportunities within the department.
Profile
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- SAP knowledge is desirable
Job Offer
- Salary of £45,000 - £48,000 per annum.
- A temporary fixed-term contract of initially 12 months with potential for extension.
