Sales Director - Real Estate Practice

As a member of the Real Estate Practice's leadership team, the Sales Leader will lead the development and implementation of a sales and pipeline strategy for the Practice.In addition, they will engage directly in key opportunities working closely with the Client Management teams and other WTW resources as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and direction of the Practice's sales performance and strategy.
  • Establish pipeline of top prospects and develop strategic approach as well as associated short-term impact wins
  • Pipeline management and sales cycle implementation to allocate best global resources
  • Drive sales initiatives for the real estate line of business
  • Support delivery of consistent start-to-finish client experience ensuring best practice and knowledge sharing
  • Engage with marketing to drive and support consistent marketing approach – materials, thought leadership, conferences, events etc.
  • Foster a trusted advisor relationship with key prospects.
  • Drive innovation and excellent client experiences by connecting WTW expertise across LOBs, specialty, geography, product and industry.
  • Support the development of new products specific to specialized area of expertise
  • Review financial, sales and activity reports to ensure that objectives are achieved.

The Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Preferably educated to a degree, or MBA level (or country equivalent)
  • Preferably with professional qualifications, e.g. ACII or similar country equivalent, or relevant industry experience

Skills:

  • Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of developing people
  • Strong skills in problem solving, planning and budgeting
  • High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy and change management
  • Proven track record of delivering new business against challenging sales targets
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence within a matrix environment
  • Strong facilitation skills – able to use inclusive and collaborative styles to manage ambiguity and gain agreement
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to act as an ambassador for the Company
