Finance Consultant / 8 Month FTC / £710 per Day / Hybrid Working / Fenchurch
My market leading client, within the financial sector is looking to recruit a Syndicate Finance Consultant on a contract basis to finish at the end of February.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of the transformation project and provide backfill support to the Syndicate Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ledger transition from SUN to SAP
- Set up operational processes and controls (reconciliations, journals and ensuring documentation is in place for key processes)
- Provide Backfill support to the finance team such as:
- Ensuring complete and accurate syndicate reporting
- Assisting with additional adhoc reporting
- Ledger maintenance
Essential Skills
- Lloyd's market experience
- Insurance experience
- Qualified accountant (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good knowledge of US, UK GAAP and Lloyd's regulatory reporting rules
- Good knowledge of financial processes and controls
