Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Customs Clearance Shift Clerk Assistant! You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of international trade by assisting with import/export customs declarations and other operational duties.
Shift pattern as follows:
4 on 4 off.
Hours - Days 1 & 2 - 07.00 to 19.00
Days 2 & 3 - 19.00 to 07.00
Responsibilities
- Complete import and export customs declarations accurately and efficiently.
- Assist senior customs clerks with completing customs paperwork as needed.
- Contribute to other operational tasks within the office as directed by the manager.
Skills
- Minimum of 1 year's customs clearance experience is a must have requirement.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Strong IT literacy and ability to learn new software programs.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Conscientious and detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Team player with a collaborative spirit.
- Ability to identify and report problems proactively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate politely and efficiently with clients and colleagues.

- Timely and accurate completion of import/export declarations and other assigned tasks.

- Maintaining high levels of accuracy in processing.
