At CRA Consulting, we are delighted to be working with a well-established legal practice, who are seeking an experienced New Build Conveyancer to join their expanding property team. With a commitment to innovation and modern conveyancing methods, this firm is at the cutting edge of the industry.

About the Role:

As a Residential Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of residential sale and purchase transactions, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership matters. You will work autonomously, but also be supported by an assistant, and will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality client service while meeting key business targets.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own caseload, ensuring that deadlines are met, and SLAs are adhered to.
  • Working closely with clients, solicitors, and third parties, providing updates and maintaining communication through telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Utilising a bespoke case management system to ensure smooth and efficient transaction processing.
  • Adhering to industry regulations, including anti-money laundering legislation and CQS requirements.
  • Engaging in training and development to maintain and enhance your technical knowledge.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a conveyancing fee earner role, although candidates with more senior experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Proven experience in handling leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage your time effectively and meet individual targets.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • A modern approach to conveyancing, particularly in process-driven, risk-based environments.
  • Familiarity with Case Management Systems, Land Registry Portal, and other digital conveyancing tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry compliance, including SRA regulations and anti-money laundering requirements.

What's on Offer:

This is an opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive working environment with fantastic opportunities for career progression. The firm offers:

  • Competitive salary (DOE)
  • Bonus opportunities
  • Generous holiday entitlement - 25 days + Bank Holidays
  • Hybrid working options following the probation period
  • Excellent training and CPD support
  • Pension scheme
  • Healthcare cash plan
  • Additional benefits including free parking, on-site canteen, and Employee Assistance Programme
  • Access to social events including annual summer and Christmas parties
  • Recognition and reward schemes

This is more than just a job - it's a chance to be part of a firm that values personal development, diversity, and inclusion, while making a positive impact on the community.
