IT Support Technician required for my client in a great location in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a long term career in a well known establishment.
- The brief of the role:
- To act as a first line trouble-shooter providing effective and timely solutions across all infrastructure, ICT Systems and hardware.
- Providing:
- Effective and timely solutions to Intranet/Internet, E-mail and faults
- Support for all hardware and software to all areas of the business
- Assistance with the use of ICT within the business
- A helpdesk / front line service to all on site
- Job escalation to the appropriate members of the ICT team
- Provide training to staff on the use of hardware/systems
- Setup and support Apple iPads
It is expected that the successful candidate will have exposure to / an understanding of:
- Windows Microsoft Windows Server
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft SQL
- Microsoft Windows 10
- Microsoft Office 365
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, RDS)
- VMWare
- Desktop and Server hardware
- Phone systems, networking, cabling.
