Job Title: First Line IT Support Engineer

We are working with a dynamic and growing managed service provider based in Birmingham. We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic First Line IT Support Engineer to be the first point of contact for our clients' IT issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the initial point of contact for all IT-related queries and issues.
- Provide support for Office 365, including user management, troubleshooting, and application support.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments
- Address networking issues, including connectivity and performance problems.
- Offer hardware support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, Windows Servers, and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT support.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
