Salary: UPTO £52,000

Working hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Role overview:

To manage Commissioning activity from a process perspective, through to actual delivery, in line with customer, supplier and manufacturers requirements that compliments the build team delivery, all inline with set agreed timelines. Reporting directly to the National Commissioning Manager, the Commissioning Engineer will follow the EUK Completions Framework to deliver a seamless facility testing, commissioning regimes are to be developed and focused on the end user. During the planning and implementation phases, risk to personnel, environment, plant and equipment,schedule and budget, as well as all Stakeholder reputation, must be both identified and assessed, that allows mitigations to be made, before the commencement of actual delivery.

Responsibility for commissioning activities of each Project whilst ensuring budget and timescales are adhered to.

Management of sub-contractors, suppliers (corporate/non corporate) and manufacturers during commissioning phases

UK wide travel will be required.

Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence.

Required to wear corporate PPE.

To have a professional approach to work alongside our prestige customer/s.

Who you'll be:

The position requires considerable communications skills to establish and communicate all systems required for successful execution of the Commissioning scope/plan. The position requires significant technical experience in M&E services, as well as a knowledge and understanding of project completion/handover activities.

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of professional & technical experience in field-based commissioning practices in either or ideally more than one discipline covering electrical systems, HVAC and standby power systems. Must have a track record of project completion processes and the commissioning of multi system M&E projects. Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Methodical thinker, able to divide a job into small logical progressive steps
  • Extensive experience in the use of procedures and workflows in the execution of projects
  • Good working knowledge of design review and reporting technologies.
