Management Accountant (3-Month Contract)
Location: South Normanton, Alfreton
Salary: Up to £48,000
Contract Duration: 3 months
Working Hours: Hybrid working - 2 days from home (Mondays and Wednesdays in the office)
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a private equity-backed business based in South Normanton. This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll play a critical part in ensuring accurate financial management and process improvements over a 3-month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analysing previous financial work to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Identifying and driving process improvements to increase efficiency
- Managing utility accruals and delivering precise financial data
- Resolving cut-over issues during financial transitions, ensuring smooth handover between systems and processes
- Managing core financial tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Supporting month-end close processes and financial reconciliations
What We're Looking For:
- A self-starter with solid management accounting experience
- A 'can-do' attitude with no task too small
- Hands-on, proactive approach to financial operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

There is potential for this contract to be extended or made permanent based on performance.
