Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious higher education institution for a Project Manager to join their International Engagement and Service Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled project professional to contribute to impactful programmes and initiatives in a dynamic academic environment.

As Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a portfolio of projects that support international engagement and service delivery. You will be responsible for managing projects through all phases, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing and supporting international engagement and service-related programmes and projects.

- Establishing and supporting project teams and working groups; maintaining documentation such as project plans, stakeholder maps, risk registers, and action logs.

- Developing and implementing communication plans to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.

- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with academic and professional services staff, as well as external partners at local, national, and international levels.

- Organising and chairing project meetings and working groups, facilitating collaboration and decision-making.

- Identifying, managing, and escalating risks and issues appropriately.

- Supporting the implementation of programme management frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Maintaining oversight of the project portfolio and partnerships log, producing regular updates and reports.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A strong understanding of international engagement and service activities within a higher education context.

- Proven experience in managing projects across the full lifecycle.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

- A proactive and collaborative approach to work.

Desirable qualifications include a project management certification and experience in higher education or transnational education.
