Job Description:
A small primary school in the DE7 postcode is looking for an experience KS2 Teacher starting in September. The school is a 2 form entry so there will be support from the main phase lead, however, lesson planning and other responsibilities are required. Any addittional hours worked will be paid. The role is initially for 4 weeks but it will be a temp to perm contract for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents for student support.
- Prepare students for national assessments.
- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Uphold school policies for a respectful environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Teaching experience required, ECT's are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessments.
- Strong communication and motivation skills.
