Full-time / Permanent

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm

We are looking for an Internal Sales Co-Ordinator to join our team in the Customer Service Centre based at our BSW Timber site in Carlisle. You will be responsible for providing first class customer service and admin support to our customer accounts from across the BSW Group alongside our team of Key Account Managers.

Specifically, some responsibilities of a Sales & Customer Service Co-Ordinator include:

  • Process orders & enquiries in a timely and professional manner using bespoke internal order systems.
  • Maintain and record interactions and orders via Salesforce, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, providing order acknowledgements, accurate pricing and product information.
  • Build relationships with clients so we can understand and meet their needs and identify any potential sales opportunities.
  • Proactively contact new and existing customers to generate sales opportunities.
  • Review order history to plan and forecast customer needs, ensuring service levels are meet and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Supporting the Customer Service team with the implementation of upselling strategies.
  • Continued professional development in product and technical knowledge.

About you:

Already experienced in a customer service or an internal sales role, with a proven track record in order processing and attention to detail. You are confident and motivated with the ability to effectively plan and prioritise a busy workload. In addition, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to negotiate and influence others.
  • Good computer skills across all Microsoft programmes, specifically Excel.
  • An understanding of Metric/Imperial measurements.
  • A high attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
