Production Engineering Technician Electronics

I am looking for a Production Engineering Technician with experience within Electronics and PCBA who thrives on challenges, thinks on their feet, and brings a proactive, can-do mindset to every task!

This is a rapidly growing business where you will be working on cutting edge technology - working closely with the Production, Engineering, and Support teams encompassing R & D as well as Production.

If you have experience as an Electronics Technician, Production Technician, Test Technician, or Design Technician within the Electronics Engineering sector, I would love to hear from you.

Depending on where your skill set lies, on a day to day basis you will be involved in things like:

  • Providing technician support to production & engineering teams.
  • Assembly of prototype systems and sub-assemblies.
  • Repair and maintenance as part of production and RMA processes.
  • Test and configuration of electronic devices
  • Maintain documentation and change control in accordance with processes.
  • Design and/or build prototype test jigs and assemblies.

What do we need from you?

  • Extensive hands-on experience with electrical and electronic devices.
  • Strong technical competence in electronics or electrical engineering, combined with practical skills in building, fixing, and modifying electronic and electromechanical equipment.
  • A positive, can do attitude with a natural ability to think for yourself and solve problems.
  • A highly analytical mindset with an intelligent eye for detail and a focus on solutions.
  • A personable, collaborative approach as an excellent team player who contributes to collective success.
  • Ideally a minimum of HNC in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

What can you expect in return?

  • Salary of £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience.
