Our client is a well-established leader in the manufacturing sector, known for their commitment to quality and innovation. We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Receivable Assistant to support their financial team. This role is essential to their financial operations and requires a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and track incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer payment records.
- Generate and send out invoices, and manage the billing process.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Resolve any discrepancies and handle billing issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports related to accounts receivable status.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Assistant or similar role.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Competency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.
