The seeking a talented and motivated Engineer to join the team and contribute to a growing portfolio of projects.

Job Description: As an Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of residential development projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed design solutions that meet both client and regulatory requirements while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for residential projects, ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to ensure designs are practical and feasible.
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather relevant data for design purposes.
  • Use CAD software and other design tools to create accurate and detailed plans.
  • Review and modify designs based on feedback from stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure designs are cost-effective and meet project budgets without compromising quality.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications and liaise with local authorities to secure necessary approvals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential design issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during the build phase.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure designs are innovative and competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Design Engineer, preferably within the residential construction industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and construction standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Valid UK driving license.
