  • Based in Romford, our client, a prominent organisation in East London, is looking for a dynamic Highways Maintenance Manager to oversee their team of 30 professionals. As an integral player in the Neighbourhoods Directorate, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of highways maintenance projects.
  • Utilising your exceptional leadership skills and industry expertise, you will guide and motivate your team to deliver high-quality results. Your ability to effectively manage resources, budgets, and schedules will contribute to the overall success of the department.
  • The role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in managing highways maintenance projects, particularly within a local government setting, will be highly advantageous.
  • This temporary position offers a competitive hourly rate of £44.15 - £55.55 and is ideal for someone who enjoys a challenge and wants to make a significant impact in the community. The contract length is 6 months, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the London Borough of Havering.

  • In depth knowledge of NRSWA - Supervisor level
  • Experience of managing a highway maintenance regime
  • Experience of managing a team of professional and technical staff
  • Excellent experience of managing large capital and revenue budgets
  • Successful experience in managing complex projects and programmes
