Office Administrator
A long established and reputable engineering company based in Swindon has an excellent opportunity for an Office Administrator to join their forward-thinking innovative team to provide a comprehensive and professional administrative support service to their busy management team.
The main features of the role include:
- Process Customer Orders and raise purchase orders
- Invoice customers
- Monitor quotations raised and chase customers as required
- Prepare relevant customer documentation and certification
- Ensure accurate and timely shipping of goods to customers
- Monitoring & maintenance of onsite Health & Safety requirements including provision of PPE and liaise with external H&S Consultant
- Liaison & support to management team with external audits
- Maintenance of administrative procedures to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards
- Monitoring and maintenance of regular checking procedures such as fire/intruder alarms, air conditioning, Fork Lifts etc
- Maintenance of General office Filing requirements (hard copy & electronic formats)
The successful candidate will be:
- pro-active and self-driven with excellent organisation & planning skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong customer service skills and good communications skills will be vital as the role involves regular interaction with a broad range of contacts throughout our customer portfolio and supply chain.
- Adaptability and flexibility will be key to managing a wide variety of administrative tasks. Demonstrably good IT skills across a range of Microsoft packages will be essential.
- Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing background would be preferable.
