My client, a reputable legal firm located in Crosby, Liverpool, is currently seeking a qualified Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to cover a 12-month maternity leave, with the potential for the role to evolve into a permanent position. This individual will be a key contributor to the Private Client department, demonstrating expertise in areas such as:
- Court of Protection
- Wills
- Trusts
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate
- Elderly client matters
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in independently managing a caseload, emphasizing both accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated and self-confident approach to work, allowing for productivity with minimal supervision.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships at all levels.
- Collaborative team-player mindset with enthusiasm for networking and business development.
In terms of responsibilities, the chosen candidate will be expected to:
- Undertake fee-earning tasks to a high standard, managing a full caseload within a busy office under supervision.
- Actively participate in the development and marketing of the firm in alignment with business and departmental plans.
- Provide a profitable contribution and add value to the work of the department.
Key Duties:
Progress instructions following established procedures and the firm's risk management processes. This includes:
- Contributing to marketing activities and maintaining professional relationships with referrers and clients.
- Maintaining financial controls for matters under supervision in collaboration with the Head of Department.
- Actively participating within the team, taking responsibility for delegated work.
- Attending relevant formal and informal training sessions.
