Role: Inclusive Learning Lecturer
Location: East Sussex
Type: Temp to perm
Rate: £29- £34 per hour
Start: September 2024
Timetable: Full time (36 hours)
Eden Brown are looking to recruit an Inclusive Learning Lecturer on behalf of a leading college in East Sussex.
This is a full time post, initially to start temporary with the opportunity to become permanent.
For this role you will be passionate about inclusion and be able to deliver a range of subjects which could include Maths and English as well as employability skills, personal and social development and vocational pathways.
We support and enable young people who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities as well as barriers to learning to successfully achieve their qualifications, progress onto a programme which inspires them and become a young adult.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in the subject area
- A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) is preferred.
Experience:
- Proven experience teaching Level 1 & 2
- Passion for Teaching
- A genuine enthusiasm for students who need more support with their physical or emotional needs
- Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
A DBS will be needed for this role, if you do not have a DBS on the update service Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf.
