I am on the lookout for

Supply Chain Coordinator

who is passionate about ensuring materials are where they need to be, right on time, and managing our outsourced partners effectively. This is a maternity leave cover role starting in October 2024 until January 2026.

In this role, you will support the Supply Chain Manager by making sure materials align perfectly with production requirements. Your attention to detail will guarantee they are in the right location at the perfect moment. A big part of your success will be your ability to manage relationships with our outsourced partners, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high standards.

Working Hours: 9am – 5:15pm (Mon-Thurs) & 9am – 2:45pm (Friday)

Tasks/Responsibilities as follows:

  • Purchasing materials, finished goods and miscellaneous items for agreed product areas.
  • Planning, monitoring, and maintaining suitable inventory levels
  • Maximise use of the order management system and ensure visibility of all orders
  • Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on time delivery of all orders
  • Maximising shipping performance and achieving on-time delivery goals
  • Liaise with key stakeholders on delivery dates, advising any deviation to prior agreed dates
  • Identify critical items / risk areas, and work with the Procurement Manager to resolve them
  • Creating Production Works orders
  • Communication & resolution of supply issues
  • Booking in of goods within agreed timescales
  • Support the movement of Raw Materials and Finished Goods with supply partners.
  • Maintain all data and information on appropriate systems and documentation, accurately and within agreed timescales

Requirements:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload and manage your own tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook
  • Up to date experience of inbound logistics, including requirements around European imports and exports of Raw Materials
  • Knowledge and experience of utilising MRP/ERP tools and systems
  • Experience of working with multi-external sources and organisations to ensure correct operations and scheme delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate and adept with Microsoft programmes and other applications
