Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all "Asset Classes of Banking Finance Products" related data models Data Dictionary Data Catalogues and Data Governance requirements
- Interact with LOB's senior leadership walk them through Finance Data Models resolving queries
- Act as a subject matter expert in Finance Data Lake P L Balance Sheet Income Statement Pricing Adjustments staying informed about industry trends best practices and regulatory changes
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize Data Models ensuring efficiency accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement solutions for complex Finance Risk related challenges
- Drive the execution of large scale programs related to Finance Data Lakes data operations ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders external partners and regulatory bodies on custody related matters
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of Finance data processes and procedures identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements
Requirements
- Senior leader SME with business and IT stakeholder management in Finance and Risk eco system
- Bachelor's degree in finance business or a related field advanced degree preferred
- Strong understanding of Finance data management principles including data governance quality assurance and reporting
- Extensive experience in Balance Sheet P L Income Statement within the financial services industry
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large scale programs in Finance operations
- In depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Finance operations
- Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on driving results and fostering a culture of accountability
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Professional certifications e g Series 7 Series 99 CPSS related to Finance and settlement operations are a plus
