Senior Finance Data Governance Leader

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all "Asset Classes of Banking Finance Products" related data models Data Dictionary Data Catalogues and Data Governance requirements
  • Interact with LOB's senior leadership walk them through Finance Data Models resolving queries
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Finance Data Lake P L Balance Sheet Income Statement Pricing Adjustments staying informed about industry trends best practices and regulatory changes
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize Data Models ensuring efficiency accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement solutions for complex Finance Risk related challenges
  • Drive the execution of large scale programs related to Finance Data Lakes data operations ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders external partners and regulatory bodies on custody related matters
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of Finance data processes and procedures identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements

Requirements

  • Senior leader SME with business and IT stakeholder management in Finance and Risk eco system
  • Bachelor's degree in finance business or a related field advanced degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of Finance data management principles including data governance quality assurance and reporting
  • Extensive experience in Balance Sheet P L Income Statement within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large scale programs in Finance operations
  • In depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Finance operations
  • Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on driving results and fostering a culture of accountability
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Professional certifications e g Series 7 Series 99 CPSS related to Finance and settlement operations are a plus
