Lead QA Engineer - Automation/Continuous Delivery
My client is an expanding technology business, looking to onshore their QA capability. The current model is a monolithic, manual approach to testing that is slow and not fit for purpose. They are looking for a Senior/Lead QA engineer to join the business and take them on a transformative journey, with regards to QA & Testing. You'll be tasked with shaping and implementing an Automation 1st approach to QA, selecting tools/frameworks and methodology to suit. You'll remain hands on and be comfortable writing tests whilst driving text excellence. A strong background in SaaS based testing, predominantly with web application products will be essential. This role will help drive the business towards continuous delivery and so exposure to mature DevOps practices, and CI/CD will be very important. This role may lead QA professionals in the future, but very much needs a solid hands on tester from inception. The business is based in Rossendale and require people on site 2 days a week. The role is paying £50-60,000 on a base salary.
