Job Title: Mould Operative

Pay Rate: £11.44p/h - £13.00 p/h, DOE

gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for Mould Operative for pioneering family manufacturer specialising in mouldings and components for the joinery and interiors markets, in Gloucester. As a Mould Operative you will be responsible for basic sketch pad design and drawing and you will assist in the manufacturing process with other members of team on a daily basis.

Main Duties as a Mould Operative - full training will be given for the below roles:
- Use and maintenance of conventional wood working machines
- Drawing and design of mould tooling
- Desing and testing of timber jigs and patterns
- Quality control; Items checked for damage and defects and issues reported
Successful candidate will have basic engineering and design experience, and will be able to use hand tolls and power tools. Ideal individual will have experience also in working with wood previously.
Minimum of skills required for the role:
- Basic sketch pad design and drawing
- Use and maintenance of conventional wood working machines
- An eye on detail
- Methodical task management
Working Shifts and Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Hourly Pay Rates
- £11.44 p/h - £13 p/h, depending on experience.
