My client is one of the leading bus manufacturers in the UK who are based in Leeds. They are seeking Engineers who have a strong background in the bus industry and who have a strong interest in becoming a Trainer. We are also looking for experts who have training experience within the bus industry.
The primary goal of this role is to elevate business development levels by providing comprehensive training, spearheading E-Learning initiatives, and ensuring impeccable technical support while maintaining a service for tracking and tracing support interactions.
Brief overview of the role:
- Collaborate with external partners for ongoing training needs.
- Coordinate internal departments for service progression.
- Provide comprehensive staff training for efficient operations.
- Deliver training on diagnostics and fault finding.
- Manage diagnostics and equipment as required
- Ensure that reports are processed in an accurate, timely and legible manner as required.
- Ensure that all technical documentation is made available to staff, i.e., parts manuals are at the current level.
- Identify areas of improvement and subsequently drive continuous improvement across the team
Requirements:
- Experience in training provision and business case planning (Adventurous)
- Proficient communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Proven track record in managing/supervising teams.
- Demonstrated organisational skills.
- Experience within the bus industry.
- Active driving license.
The salary for this position is £45,0000 + £5,000 car allowance.
Hours: mainly 37.5 Monday to Thursday 8.00 - 4.45, Friday 8.00 - 12.30 but flexibility required due to travel requirements
