Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher with a talent for engaging students and nurturing a love of science. The successful candidate will join our dedicated science department, bringing the curriculum to life through interactive lessons, hands-on experiments, and thought-provoking discussions. This role is ideal for educators with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of scientists.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver stimulating lessons aligned with the national curriculum, adapted to meet students' diverse learning needs.

  • Work closely with colleagues in the science department to ensure a cohesive approach to learning and curriculum objectives.

  • science fairs, and lab sessions, to enhance students' scientific engagement.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a science-related field and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

  • Previous experience teaching science at the secondary level is preferred, though Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with strong subject expertise are encouraged to apply.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills, with a clear passion for teaching science.

  • Familiarity with the UK science curriculum and exam requirements.
