We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Manager to join our client's esteemed Business Development & Marketing team.

About the Role:

As the Communications Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's internal and external communications strategy, working closely with the Director of Business Development & Marketing. This is a newly created position, offering you the chance to make a significant impact as the firm prepares to launch its refreshed brand and new website this Autumn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communications Strategy: Develop and implement effective communication plans that align with the firm's strategy and values. Create engaging content tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Internal Communications: Lead the enhancement of internal communication tools and processes. Manage and deploy initiatives that highlight the firm's capabilities and embed its values.
  • External Communications: Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets. Drive media engagement through newsworthy content, manage media inquiries, and support media relations efforts.
  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the Digital Team to maximize the firm's online presence through strategic content and optimized UX and SEO. Manage social media profiles and support content updates.
  • Brand Development: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials and activities. Oversee digital marketing and social media campaigns to enhance brand recognition.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute to various business development and operational support functions, including the launch of a new intranet in Spring 2025.

Personal Attributes:

  • Over 5 years of experience in communications.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong team player with excellent client service orientation.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
  • Passionate about new marketing channels and staying updated on industry developments.
  • Experience in a professional services or regulated environment is desirable.

Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledgeable in media, digital marketing, and martech platforms.
  • Experienced in media management, content marketing, and campaigns.
  • Structured and process-driven with robust project management abilities.
